Steampunk, meet Timelord.
It is considered a civic duty in my hometown to be as weird as possible. In that spirit, I introduce my latest creation: a lighted, glow-in-the dark, portable homage to the Tenth Doctor.
All materials (fabrics and embellishments) are either handmade, hand-printed, or upcycled, except for the glow-in-the dark media and hardware.
Wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff adorns the back.

Text on the side panels glows in the dark.
The light blinks, and the windows, words, and vortex-swirls glow in the dark.
Bigger on the inside?
The control center, actually a separate beaded bag, casts a green glow.
TARDIS controls
Sticky notes!
The heart of the TARDIS. It’s lined with –what else?– Roses.
A hand-embroidered Rassilon Seal on the back of the control panel. It, too, glows.
LED hardware hides in a little pocket.

It all starts with an idea…
…an idea that blossoms…
…and grows…
…into something wild, and exultant, and crazy-wonderful.
I think it’s high time for a female Doctor. If she ever drops her TARDIS in my backyard, I might just let her borrow my purse–as long as I get to come along for the ride.
